Paul has over 18 years consulting experience with Bain working with major corporate and private equity clients in Japan, Australia, China, SE Asia, Europe and North America. He was the Managing Partner of Bain’s Australian business between 1998 and 2005 and ran our Japan business between 2005-2007. He is a member of Bain’s global Management Committee (our Board of Directors). He is now Bain’s regional head of Asia Pacific.

•Supported the merger integration of a leading global FMCG player across Asia Pacific – operations, organization and strategic blueprint
•Led a turnaround program for a leading global FMCG across three core businesses. Growth and operating improvement initiatives have delivered substantial value within 12 months
•Advised a leading global beverage company on it’s growth and turnaround program
•Developed a turnaround plan and growth strategy for one of Australia’s largest apparel retailers driving immediate recovery in share price and market sentiment
•Significant performance improvement achieved for a leading consumer products brand through dramatic overhead cost reductions and a refocused brand and distribution strategy
Paul joined Bain & Company in London at graduate entry level in 1987. Paul holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Dublin, Trinity College. He also studied Corporate Finance at London Business School.
Paul is married to Grainne and has four children. He has a passion for all sports including golf, rugby, and cricket.
