The Wharton Asia Business Conference (WABC) is recruiting again. This year, the conference is seeking talented committed individuals, both UG and MBA students, to play integral roles in lifting the conference to greater heights.

The following positions are available:

Executive Vice President
-Event-coordination experience recommended
-Willing to commit 6-8 hours/week
-Strong communicative skill sets and leadership style
-Ability to work in cohesive teams

Vice President
-Willing to commit 3-4 hours/week
-Teamwork experience
-Specific skillsets pertaining to commitee preferences

The 2008 WABC structure is as follows:

Panel speakers Committee
- Identify and invite keynote and panelist speakers as well as moderators
- Nominate and contact past Alumni for annual Alumni Award
- Develop panel content and themes for conference

Sponsorship Committee
- Identify, contact and secure Sponsorship with from firms across different industries
- Develop sponsorship package which includes benefits and terms for sponsorship
- Establish relationship with HR for updates and continued support for conference

External Affairs
- Identify, and invite potential candidates for Advisory board
- Mantain communication channels and feedback with Advisory board
- Conduct social gatherings and other conference related social activities

Career Fair
- Engage in close working relationship with Sponsorship Committee
- Identify, contact and secure firms for career fair
- Develop career fair package to attract and maintain vested interest in both conference and career fair
- Establish close long term relationship with HR personnel for future career fair events

Logistics
- Draft and coordinate detailed logistical outline for conference day
- Overlook entire day schedule and proceeding

Marketing
- Maintain and update Wharton Asia Business Conference website
- Engage in vigorous conference marketing and development of marketing materials
- Drafting and creation of conference-related brochures and materials
