Welcome!
On behalf of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, we are pleased to announce that the 15th annual Wharton Asia Business Conference (WABC) will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2009, at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia. We hope that you will join us in what we expect to be a weekend of information exchange and networking opportunities in the Asian business community.
The theme for the 2009 conference is "Navigating Through the Global Crisis." This year's conference hopes to delve into the issues affecting companies in Asia during the global crisis and, subsequently, how these companies are positioning themselves to rally through the downturn. We hope to examine this topic across a breadth of industries and gain a more comprehensive understanding of the most salient issues companies in Asia are facing today. Through this discussion we aim to foster both academic and career opportunities while creating a forum of knowledge exchange that is both interesting and useful for all participants.
